What in Mario/Sonic MPREG did I just read?

After very long and hard pondering following some fruitless research to establish whether this is supposed to be a genuine outlook on gender roles in society as well as implication of several elements of what could be seen as parallels and metaphors in regards to transgender identity OR merely a caricature of the latter, I personally settled upon not dwelling further into the meaning of the entire icky... sticky... mess. I guess the story sells itself to be exactly what it is: simply WEIRD. My final conclusion will have to be that, PERSONALLY, this book isn't for me. But whatever tickles your fungussy 🙄
