Song of Spider-Man: The Inside Story of the Most Controversial Musical in Broadway History by Glen Berger
5.0
This is my favorite thing I've read this year. An entertaining, well-told story about one of the most fascinating collaborations to ever grace audiences. It will make you laugh, it will deeply horrify you. In many ways, it is one of the best stories about hubris that I have ever heard, reaching (quite literally) mythic proportions.
I wouldn't complain about a single thing. The book itself is funny, smart, deeply personal, and well-paced. I don't feel like a single paragraph was wasted.
