Didn't really feel this one quite as much as the first book but still. Claire is a magnet for trouble and has no self preservation instincts. Eve is hot headed and yet somehow doesn't seem to attract quite as much trouble. Shane is simply an idiot (though he is a victim so perhaps we should cut him some slack). Micheal just got a whole lot more interesting. I'm ooking forward to getting to know Sam more, he seems like an interesting addition.
