Oh. My. Laird. This was a very sweet, highland story. I could relate to this on so many levels. I'm a Eveline with significant hearing loss. I could never imagine the different hardships back then compared to today's technology.

I loved, loved, loved Eveline and Gaeme's relationship. Eveline is sweet and fierce. Gaeme is strong and tender. I loved when they were together and communicated.

This was my first Maya Banks story. Her writing is easy to sink into. I can't wait to try others! 5+ stars!
