honestly all cassandra clare has to do is TYPE the words will herondale and it’s an automatic five stars.
i loved getting to meet the next generation of shadowhunters, i love that some things never change including:
-the herondales hatred for ducks
- furthermore herondales being dumbasses
-magnus bane taking a sad shadowhunter boy under his wing and trying to fix him
but seriously i love this world and these characters so much and every time i pick up a shadowhunter book it feels like coming home. i’m forever thankful for this series of books.
