World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks
4.0
A pleasant surprise.
I’m not much of a fan of zombies but was taken aback by Brooks’s interesting delivery method. We listened to the abridged (6 hour) audiobook via Scribd while driving back to San Diego from Mammoth Lakes. We were very impressed with the full cast recording (which included Mark Hamill 🙂) as it made the future-historical-fiction-interview angle more convincing and intriguing. The Zombie War felt realistic due to this delivery as everyone interviewed had their unique perspective and experience. Will have to get the full paperback in the future. 4.5 stars.
