The action arc continues with Marsh and Levi separating to work on different angles (while pining). Thankfully the separations were not long, and they are soon back to fighting side by side. They'd come so far together, and their relationship is solid at this point. Marsh is determined to protect Levi and David at all costs, and Levi is his grounding factor and his heart. They're really amazing together, and their romance gives me all the heart eyes. The love and faith they have for each other is just perfect, and same goes for the sweet, steamy times. The family bonding is ❤️, too. I enjoyed the suspense and its resolution, with Marsh and Levi having the sweetest HEA. However, the problem I had remained - too big a side cast from other books. I dealt better - but it was still a bit much. Loved Cam though!
