Hook, Line, and Sinker by Tessa Bailey

OH MY GOD

I LOVE FOX & HANNAH. This story has me hooked from the very first page. I mean the text messages...COME ON. These two characters are so meant for each other in every way possible. After It Happend One Summer I just knew I would love their story and I was not disapointed. It was emotional, funny, heartbreaking, and so so lovable. I can relate so much to Hannah and I love that she finds her way through to being the leading lady she deserves. In so many books its the guy saving the girl, but this time its Hannah who saves Fox. That alone is so refreshing, especially because Hannah finds herself first. She teaches him that he is worth so much more than how everyone else sees him. She is unapoligetic in her love for Fox and what she's willing to do for those she loves. She may not realize it but she was always the main character for me. On the other hand, Fox also helped Hannah stand up for herself, even without realizing. Just who he is around her and towards her gave her the courage to find her voice. Not only is Hannah & Fox's relationship written SO WELL, but the atmosphere Tessa Bailey creates is phenomenal. I feel like I've been to Westport and even as Hannah & Fox were singing, I could feel just how connected they were to the little town. I liked It Happened One Summer, but I LOVED Hook, Line & Sinker. No spoilers but the epilouge had me in happy tears and my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. I Cannot wait for what Tessa writes next because this book is going to be one of my favorites for a while.
