Let me preface with I thought B&B was so-so.
L&L missed the mark for me.
One of my biggest complaints for B&B was that for being serial killers I expected more Killing. I expected more gruesome, methodical murders.
L&L had even less twisted murder than B&B (such an odd thing to say out of context haha).
I truly felt like nothing happened the whole first half of this book. I was SO BORED. The end only went by faster because there was a little more action, but it wasn’t necessarily any better.Although, I will say it was RUDE to kill Ethel. She was literally the only character I liked!
I wish I enjoyed this as much as some of my friends are, but isn’t that the great thing about books - we all have such unique experiences reading them.
Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be finishing this trilogy. I only read L&L one because a friend let me borrow it.
