Most of this book if I’m being real was random & useless & I skimmed through. The beginning and ending slapped and both made me emotional. The devils minion bits were some of Anne Rice’s best writing so far & I stand by that….. also all of the Louis x Lestat moments of course were beautiful. I just love these characters too much to give them up & I know at some point I’ll have to tap out of this series & this one has been the weakest so far; I fear we are closely approaching that reality. Realistically, this book deserves a 2⭐️ if I’m being honest, but I love Louis x Lestat, & Armand x Daniel, & Armand x Marius & Claudia memories and rockstar Lestat so much & for them I’m giving this another star it almost definitely does not deserve.
