Coen by Sawyer Bennett

emotional funny hopeful sad tense medium-paced

1.0

I really wanted to like this one because Coen as a character had a lot of potential and his character development could've been immaculate but unfortunately he remained an asshole. There were a few instances where I liked him especially when he defended Tillie is front of the "mean girls" but other than that, I did not like both Tillie & Coen. I feel like Tillie was just available so Coen fell for her. I just did not like her and her "quirks" and she was a literal doormat when it came to him. Once they started to sleep together, she forgot her dreams about the studio which bothered me a lot. The pacing also was incredibly slow and some parts were getting very repetitive. The only enjoyable part was the last chapter for me, other than that, this book was a total let down.
