Those are solid five stars and no stars taken. Maybe more added if I could. Maybe a sky filled with one for all the ones who wander in the night sky.
If my eyes weren’t prickling, my heart not thrumming in some sort of way and my lungs not on fire, I could say much more. But this is a good book to end this year. It’s a good book for all the tears.
I don’t think I could forget those little thieves.
We might never be able to safe all the people we care so deeply for. But we can love them. And maybe love is all that ever needed it to be.
