How to Make Friends with the Dark by Kathleen Glasgow
4.0
How to Make Friends With The Dark is a book about the journey of grief and a girl who after losing her person, gets sent into the foster care system.
Okay, so this book made me sob my heart out. Tears fell, that's so serious. I've really only lost my abuelito and I was just a kid who wasn't too close to him.
I enjoyed the premise of the book and how it played out. It helped me better understand how all-consuming grief can be. I definitely wish there was more of a focus on the side characters, to better see how their friendship grew.
