I didn't realize this sequel existed until I finished the first book, so I had to start it immediately and read it in a day. I didn't have any trouble suspending my disbelief to get back into Shelby's life at the inn. I found this book sweeter than the first one, and the sex is even steamier. I appreciated how Shelby and her kids are becoming one happy family with these men, and I especially like how the mens' extended families are supportive of this non-traditional arrangement.
