Note that this is my first YA contemporary romance so I don't have a lot of experience in this genre to base my opinion on.
But, this was a struggle for me to get through. My reading experience would have been a 2, but I recognize the quality of the story and characters is more of a 4, so I've averaged it out at a 3 star. I just rreeeeally struggled with the immaturity of the characters, but I recognize that that opinion is likely more of a me-problem.
Overall, a lighthearted read and one I'd recommend for a beach read. Lots of descriptions of Indonesia and Bali, I could feel the sun and heat radiating off the page. Or in my case, radiating through my headphones.
