Leave it to T.M Thorne to orchestrate an engaging plot with multiple POV's! "Caged: Rock, Ransom and Retribution" is another book shelved under the Frankie Finch series that can be read as a stand-alone book. Frankie takes a chance on Kidd Ritchie as a business partner and burlesque superstar Birdie the Bird of Paradise to cement the launch of Vice, his top-end casino. However, Kidd has some unfinished business that finds its way to the shores of England. Birdie is kidnapped, and Frankie's man is caught in the crossfire. Frankie Finch's evolution is wonderful to read as he balances fatherhood and being a gangland boss. Additionally, the brief appearances of some beloved characters are exceptionally integrated into this book. There are many twists and turns that keep you guessing till the end. A 5 star read!
