At first i thought maybe it was gonna bore, but to my delight it did not. It kept my attention and I devoured the book within 2 days.
I loved it, Jamie especially. Loved his grumpy librarian self who eventually softened into a cookie.
The found family aspect was so endearing and the children were refreshingly realistic. Terracotta 😑 such a brat lol but her brattyness came from a good place.. still. Totally grounded.
I loved how the book ended, it was nicely wrapped up and tied neatly, nothing left unanswered with I adored.
I felt very sad about Edward though, like most books and in real life there are people that are just monsters, even underneath the nice facade that they wear everywhere. Witch or not people will judge you for whatever reason, probably because there's something missing within their own lives.
We can't transform the world, but maybe we can make it a little bit better for everyone.
 Loved this book!
