The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas
5.0
Of course, I loved this book/these novellas. How could I not? Sarah J. Maas is such a fantastic writer and I already love this world and Celaena, so it was a given I would adore this. The stories were interesting and gave such an insight into the world and into Celaena as well! I think my favorite of the stories was the one in the desert, but they were all amazing.
I was so sad towards the end! I didn't want Sam to die, even though I knew it was going to happen. I loved him so much :(
I kind of didn't understand why the book was five novellas, as each novella leads into the next. It was like one long story that just had five arcs throughout it.. But still, it was amazing and a great read! I definitely think that you should read it after having read at least Crown of Midnight, if not Heir of Fire. There are some hints in there as to who Celaena really is and such and I think it would be best to already know that so you can pick up on those aspects.
