I read this book when I was 10 because my grandmother thought it was a perfectly acceptable choice for my age group. My mother did not agree.

I have very little recollection of the book, other than a few scattered images left over. And I'm probably never going to reread it. All I can tell you is that I enjoyed it at the time, as much as a 10 year old could.
