i don't even know where to begin. i thought this book was gonna be silly and fun but it was much more complex and honestly, stressful. it's very well written, the dots connect in a satisfying way, the characters are my CHILDREN and i LOVE them, the romance made me kick the air with joy, the mystery, although very cliché in space operas, made me SO anxious. i cared genuinly about the characters and in the second half, the book turns upside down and a lot starts to happen and i got very very stressed out by it. the ending felt like a little too much but maybe it will make more sense in the next book. i'm going to take a break before reading the second one because this book gave me a headache.

"It's so calming, this feeling, this sweaty-haired, tousled, body-entangled proof of shared existence."
