Ophelia's Embrace by Dahlia Rose
4.0
I really enjoyed this.
First off, the setting of this historical romance was so unique. I have never read a HR book that takes place in historical Quebec. It is easy to forget the people who made lives for themselves in more remote areas. It is also easy to forget that there were Black people there as well.
I also liked that the story didn’t shy away from topics of race, at the same time, it didn’t revolve around Ophelia’s race.
