This is the second book in the Cherry Lake Fire Fighters Series and so far I have loved both books in this series. This book had a lot of great characters and I loved Ford's Grammie Franny and the relationship she formed with Drinda. Drinda's assistant at the Coffee shop Maxi was a fun character as well. I liked the fact that partway through the book Sage & Brad from the previous book Sugar Cookie Kisses made an appearance and turned out to be friends with Drinda with a couple more pop ups / mentions later. This book also is part of The Coffee Loft Series and while I haven't read any other books in that series yet I plan to look into them in the future. This book can be read as a standalone from either series and I look forward to reading more Cherry Lake Fire Fighters books in the future, perhaps Gibson will get a book soon?
