Fire Bound by Christine Feehan

3.0

I'm having trouble reading Feehan lately - too many of her male characters are obsessive and overly controlling and too many of her 'powerful' female characters are getting defeated by dudes or being rescued by somewhat rapey dudes. This series is better than the Dark series for that, but the issues with men coming in and rearranging the life of a woman by force because they know best and are stronger/better keeps interfering with my enjoyment of the stories. In fact I can't really remember that much about this book other than some good action sequences and an interfering male rescuing/derailing the plans of a character otherwise portrayed as strong and competent.
