Was the ending good? Yes. Did the story have potential? Yes. But did it need all that smex? No.

There were so many times when the characters could've talked instead of screwing. I get that the point of the book is
friends with benefits,
but it just made it harder to believe their chemistry wasn't purely sexual. This meant when they did
get together, I couldn't fathom how they fell in love so quickly. And when they did break up for that period, I was half expecting him to sleep around. If the chemistry was there, that wouldn't have been the case....


I was shocked at the end of Chapter 29 and I didn't hate the book (I rated it higher than The Mistake) but I still think The Deal is the only one I'd reread. A solid 3.5☆.
