Environmental Humanities: Voices from the Anthropocene (Rowman and Littlefield International - Intersections) by Serenella Iovino, Serpil Oppermann
3.0
I read most of the essays in this book: overall, a fascinating collection of voices (anthropologists, writers, scholars, scientists) on living in and thinking about the Anthropocene. I was especially interested in Thom van Dooren and Deborah Bird Rose's "Lively Ethography: Storying Animist Worlds" and will seek out more of their work. I recommend this to scholars interested in how Anthropocene/climate change/extinction impacts the humanities disciplines.
