Skeleton Crew: featuring The Mist by Stephen King
4.0
Well this took me way longer than expected to get through.
It was definitely quite the interesting read. Not all of the stories were particularly horrifying, at least not outright, but Stephen King really knows how to get inside the darkest parts of your brain and mess with them.
My favourite stories were probably The Mist and The Raft. The Raft in particular gave me both The Ruins and The Colour Out of Space vibe, both of which I love.
The Jaunt was also a favourite, if only for the interesting concept. I haven't read much of Stephen King's works yet, but this was the first time reading something sci-fi by him and it was pretty good.
