Pack Up the Moon by Kristan Higgins

This book hit me. So hard. I read the entire book in one day, whilst making a very emotional journey of my own. It was probably not my best idea to read this during my travels, sorry to the people sitting next to me on planes, I was not sick, just sad! I was teary-eyed for most of the book, and I downright sobbed at the end. I found this story so beautiful and so real. I felt both Joshua and Lauren's pain, they both felt like real people to me. I also really appreciated reading Joshua's story chronologically, but Lauren's story backwards, it was a nice touch! All in all, this is a beautiful but heartbreaking story of love, loss, grief, hope and joy, and I am so glad I read it.
