Lately I've been really interested in historical fiction. This book was excellent. I'm not sure exactly how historically accurate it is, but the author's note at the end says that all the characters are actual people and their personalities in the book are derived directly on what is known about them. I know very little about imperial Rome, so I have to assume that the author knows what she is talking about. I will certainly check out other books by this author, and would recommend her to anyone who likes historical fiction or has an interest in Rome or Egypt. Another good audiobook from my local library!
