Mina is half-human, half-vampire gifted to a powerful vampire most fear, Malachi. As Mina becomes more comfortable in her new role - feeding Malachi - she is opened up to the love of not only Malachi but his two friends Wolf and Rylan. The four of them try to navigate the very political vampire world and find freedom for themselves without losing each other.
I enjoyed the idea behind his book a lot. I also enjoyed the dynamic between Malachi, Wolf, and Rylan. I felt like Mina was very weak for the role she played and I didn’t feel like the amount of growth she had really fit her role. I kept waiting for her to come into her own and I felt like it never really happened. The spice and connection between the four of these characters was great but Mina kept falling short outside of the bedroom. The confrontation at the end also felt rushed and a little awkward given how weak Mina’s character had been the whole book. Overall I would recommend it especially if you plan to read the Deal With A Demon series.
As always, check for TW’s and happy reading!
