Tokyo Ghoul: re, Vol. 9 by Sui Ishida

3.0

Oof! Sadly this volume was nowhere near as good as the previous volume. What really frustrates me about the :re series is how some volumes are composed entirely of messy battle scenes where you often haven’t a clue what’s going on and who’s fighting who. To add to this the fact that old and new characters often appear in this scenes with some characters looking similar...it’s a wonder I know what’s going on!! All I can be certain of is this conclusion but as for the rest of it...I wouldn’t hold my breath. And where is Kaneki in all of this??!
