It was almost like every other dystopian novel. I expected something more maybe? I didn't find much depth or great plot. It was interesting - maybe very slightly different in terms of plot (not much unexpected) - or I don't know - am I missing something? Although, I'm still looking forward to the next book as I enjoyed Warcross quite a lot and am hoping it gets better. It's fast-paced and easy to read, and it was overall quite okay, if you're new and into dystopian novels.
