Okay, so I've been meaning to reread this one for a while. First read, I didn't enjoy it much, but for sure a much different experience this time around.
The characters were gorgeously flawed, and the prose was beautiful. The beginning and middle was a point where I wasn't fully connected, but I loved the ending.
This book has always given me that sort of feeling when you know you're going to eventually end up rereading a book. I'm sure that in maybe a year, maybe more, I'll find myself picking it up again, curling up into a couch, chair, bed, and reading that starting sentence.
