Super cute coming of age story that takes Teen Angst and makes it actually understandable. Melody isn't the Perfect daughter all asian parents want, and the pressure gets to her. She acts out, but she ultimately wants what's best. I loved the culture clash and her struggling to make friends, keep up with school, even the tense relationship with her parents was interesting
