This is the fourth Smartypants Romance book that I've read and the first one I really loved. Well written, interesting characters, great setting.

I loved Tempest and the fact that she was an angry women! She should be! Everything about her journey worked for me and felt like it was handled perfectly. Cage was great! He had one remark about "checking to see if he'd grown a vagina" that I got real heated about....but it was the outlier remark of that nature. Felt like it could've been cut and the story wouldn't have changed. I liked that he was a fighter but didn't fit the stereotype of what you imagine. He'd used MMA to learn focus and determination as opposed to being some rough kid off the street having to defend himself. I feel like that story is the one you'd find in a romance, not a Harvard accepted kid who had a different calling then school. I loved his approach to Tempest and how he really wanted her but also really wanted her to be happy and healthy.

The book made me laugh and I swear I was smiling the whole time I was reading it. Seems like Jiffy Kate will be back with at least one of Cage's brothers and I will definitely be there for it.
