...well, lesson learned: if it can get worse it will.
I can't even bother writing a proper review, I'll try to sum up my thoughts: again a lot of pages with nothing happening, honestly the story definitely didn't need three books, because most of the chapters are repetitive and didn't add anything worth reading. adrian becomes more and more violent, it's scary how he does things that are, not borderline, but completely abusive and yet it's "his way of loving" ????? no, jail, in fact jail won't be enough k word him. lia tried, I'm gonna give her that, she indeed tried and did her best, it didn't work but the intention was there.
honestly this book can go both ways and it's up to you know to take it (so.. in a way you could say it's a 2x1 story (?)) it's either a romance with a mafia man🤪 or a thriller story that shows abuse and how difficult it is to escape it. choose one with no pressure about it.
anyway I'm going to finish this because unfortunately, I still want to know what's going to happened. yeah some things were revealed but I'm still fucking confused.
honestly that big turn of events about winter and lia.. I guess it would've been sicker but at the same time more interesting ? (even tho it would be obvious) if the switch didn't happen and winter was actually winter like do you get what a plot for a scary movie that would've been??
