Patricia Wants to Cuddle by Samantha Allen

5.0

A satire about media, social media, public perception, and carefully constructed image it demands. It's also about forging community and connection and finding peace in yourself away from outside influence and also killing cishets who disturb that peace.

The core of the story is a series of love letters from the seventies written by the now deceased wife of the local innkeeper. Even if you don't want to read the book, it's worth going to a library or bookstore and flipping through to read those letters. They are perhaps the most tender and hopeful sentiments I've ever read
