This one was just okay for me. I did read it via audiobook, not sure if that made a difference in my overall experience or not.
I found this book to be a bit anticlimactic and predictable for me. Maybe I've read too many thrillers/murder mysteries? Or maybe this one just wasn't for me? Who knows. Either way, it was okay. I got through it quickly, since I usually do get through audiobooks within a couple of days no matter my enjoyment level.
I wasn't necessarily bored with it, but I wasn't as engaged as I like to be with this sort of story. Nothing wrong with the characters or the writing, the plot just didn't do it for me. If it wasn't predictable then I was just lost and not knowing who I was supposed to be looking at because I feel like the book didn't set that up enough.
In the end, it was fine. Nothing super groundbreaking for me.
