This was an awesome read!  As a VT native, I've grown up in the Appalachian Mountains, but haven't really had the opportunity to learn much about Appalachian folk magic which seems much more prevalent in the south.  Jake's writing style was approachable and readable, and I loved reading the common sense/logical approaches to many customs and workings that he walked us through in this book.

Highly recommend if you're interested in learning more about conjure and folk magic from Appalachia!
