don't you just hate when a book you expected to be 5 stars isn't?

i thought i'd love this just as much as everyone else seems to be, and while i did like the writing, i just wasn't as invested in the romance or plot as most people are. don't get me wrong, i liked the letter-writing aspect, but something was lacking for me.

also, roman just wasn't my favourite IM SORRY he reminded me of too many other fictional men and i guess i wanted him to stand out a bit more. loved iris tho
