An interesting read. The premise is that to prevent a recurrence of nuclear war, the US gets rid of all their cities (implied is that other countries do to) and the country moves into a Mennonite/Amish style existence. Naturally, there's rumors of a place where old tech is still a thing called Bartorstown, and our hero and his cousin want to find it. I'll be honest, I found the premise a bit absurd, but if you accept that, it holds together quite well.
