I can’t lie I ate this up. I loved the dark romantasy vibes & the spice was definitely there but wasn’t annoyingly overwhelming. It was quite predictable, especially since I’ve read the Of Flesh & Bone Series by Harper L Woods and the plot twists/relationship dynamic were reminiscent of that series (devoured those too though). I also got irritated with the writing bc it felt like every sentence was trying too hard to be profound and dramatic, and it just got tiresome for me. It was a 4 star book for entertainment but a 3 star book for overall quality/merit… so 3.5
