Sailor Moon 1 by Naoko Takeuchi

When did my Sailor Moon obsession begin?....Oh that's right, when I was 2 years old. Obviously I'm talking about the anime show which began airing the year I was born. One look was all it took.

You can't believe how freaking excited I was when I was just casually looking through the book section at WalMart (alright I pretty much stalk it and any bookstore I come in contact with) and BAM! there's Sailor Moon. I squealed, snatched the book up, and in my mind held it in the air singing hallelujah (cause you know if I actually did that people would look at me like what is she on). Then I found my mom and shoved the book at her and was like "Look! Look! Look what I found! OMG this is like the best day EVER!" and she was like "Oh god. What is that doing here?" She A) doesn't understand my obsession with reading and B) doesn't understand my obsession with Sailor Moon, specifically Sailor Moon out of all the other scouts.

Whatever. Still BEST DAY EVER! The artwork was gorgeous! I was in love. I had all the characters voices in my head as I was reading and as I was reading I was remembering the episodes of the anime and was like "I've seen this!" Took a while to get used to reading the book from right to left. After I'd finish the left page I'd go to the right and start reading and be like didn't I just read this? I've got the hang of it now though. Volume One ended with Usagi and Mamoru and I was just like yep on to Volume Two which I'm currently reading.

Lets just say for this Sailor Moon addict these are AMAZING!
