The best one in the Maeve Kerrigan series so far, and one that highlights Maeve's own flaws and insecurities.

A dismembered limb is found in the Thames which leads Maeve and the team on a whirlwind chase around gentleman's clubs and the journalists investigating them.

Her relationship with Josh Derwent really progresses in this novel and we see how deep their connection really is.

As always, love the mysteries in this series but more than anything love that Maeve is a regular, flawed human
