Fangirl Down didn’t offer anything new. Our romantic pairing comes from a rather uneven pairing, but we can see how it’s going to end up from the outset. The main thing that put me off was the fact that it takes place in the golfing world.
There’s very little you could say that would make golf have any attraction for me. Reducing our main man to the appeal of his butt doesn’t really do much, and I have to confess to giggling my way through a lot of the sex scenes.
The plot is pretty straightforward. Washed-up golf pro and his loyal fan who becomes his caddy, helping him rediscover his love for the game and their developing relationship.
