I would still like to take a moment to appreciate how precious Tyson is.

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate Tyson. He was basically the highlight of this book.
And hey, seeing Grover in a wedding dress was just hilarious.

Before I could figure out how to apologize for being such an idiot, she tackled me with a hug, then pulled away just as quickly. "I'm glad you're not a guinea pig."

Annabeth annoyed me a bit. Like come on, just stop arguing for Percy for once. But despite all their arguing, their friendship -if you’d call it that- only gets more solid and real. And they had their cute moments together.

“Families are messy. Immortal families are eternally messy. Sometimes the best we can do is to remind each other that we're related for better or for worse...and try to keep the maiming and killing to a minimum.”

In my opinion, the first book was better. But this one is still full of adventures, betrayals and new Greek mythology characters. I think it focused more on character development than action like in the first book.
It was really enjoyable nonetheless.
