It's been a long time since I last read this, but I reread this series about once a year throughout middle school and high school and kept reading the series into college. I stopped at book 10, because I didn't have the time to keep going back and rereading with each new book, so I figured I'd wait til the last one came out. And then by the time it finally did, I had way too many things going on to return to the full series, but it had been long enough I felt weird just jumping in at book 11 again. So I haven't finished it, but it holds a special place in my memory and goodness knows I could probably recite books one through 5 by rote even now. I'm not sure if I'd enjoy it as much if I were to reread it today in 2022, but I'm keeping the high star rating I originally gave it as a kid, because why not.
