This book was everything I didn’t know I wanted.
After the first book, I didn't think it could get any better. Kat has a trauma I think many women can identify with and in this book she begins to learn to deal with it. Her journey with herself and also with Bastian is so strong. Considering how book one ended we were expecting a heart wrenching slow burn with angst but I have to say that while I usually love that pain this sequel was even better. It was slow burn yes, but their relationship wasn't painful, it was healing. And I just have to say that the wait was definitely worth it! Clare knows how to write spicy books.
You can expect:
Found family
Touch her and die
Spice
Supportive MMC
Sisterhood
Slow burn
