Ok, I'm hooked! This book just grabbed me and sucked me in from page one. I've never read anything by Dana Claire before, but you can bet I'm going to keep her on my radar!

With some action, some sci-fi elements, and even some romance, this book is full of the things that keep a reader turning pages and at the edge of their seat. Starting with a tale of some otherworldly creatures and the loss of one who was held dear and flash forward to a human on earth who doesn't quite realize her own history or worth. Add the creatures back in as some really attractive people at her high school and it started to have a bit of Twilight vibes, but NO! Not quite, because it's up to the girl to save the day!

I have to admit to suspecting a part of the story, but I think that's more my own suspicious and calculating mind. The writing was so good and had me flipping pages so fast and staying up WAY past my bedtime. Now, I'm just a little bummed because there will obviously be more to this story that I am going to just have to wait for.

If you like action, romance and a bit of sci-fi in your reading, or if you're a fan of the earlier works of Siobhan Davis, I think you will really enjoy this book!
