The Hundred Years' War on Palestine by Rashid Khalidi
5.0
Such a critical resource for anyone who wants to understand what's happening in Palestine today. This well-written book covers the main touchstones of the colonization of Palestine. Khalidi does a lovely job weaving in relatives and family history where pertinent, which gives the history a personal touch. Where his own life intersects with the history, he brings in some first-person narrative too which is also a great way to get a sense of the behind-the-scenes of the dreaded Oslo process.
