The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle
5.0
This collection of short stories was an excellent change from the typical novel that I'm so used to. Each story has a charm to it, with witty details and unique situations. I would say this book is very much like watching a TV show, as each chapter generally follows a formula and welcomes you back each time, as if coming into a familiar sitting room on a sitcom.
The stories that really shone were certainly "The Red-Headed League", "The Blue Carbuncle", "The Speckled Band", "The Stockbrokers Clerk", and "The Final Problem". I have to say I am proud of having such a book in my collection.
